So if the cybersex was because he was drunk...
I just heard a clip on the radio this morning where someone (Foley's lawyer, I think) excused Foley's cybersex with the explanation that he was drunk at the time.

So, if he had cybersex because he was drunk,
and he had cybersex during house votes,
was he drunk during house votes?

I would be willing to say...

What with constant fundraising and such, these folks are always around booze and away from home and in a place where they feel safe....

Oh, the tangled web we weave, when we haul out the I Was Drunk chestnut.

Maybe the House clerk should administer a breathalyzer test before a vote? How many other Reps are voting drunk with one hand?

when conducting House business. About the same time, ABC was releasing the IM's that he had sent while voting on the House floor.

Hmmmm, something doesn't add up there....
