asked if he thought it was fair to finger the church without giving any indication of by whom or where it had happened. Usual lawyer 'i am not authorized to say' answer came in response.

Many people i see were like myself who instantly said BULLSHIT in my mind.

Raised in a devout Catholic family, Foley was an altar boy at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Worth and attended Cardinal Newman High School before transferring to Lake Worth High School.

A former Catholic priest who knew Foley at the time and was his high school guidance counselor said he never saw signs of abuse and called it "terribly irresponsible" not to name the clergyman.

"To throw that out there like that, I think it's despicable. If there's somebody out there, name him," said former priest Bill Brooks, now a Palm Beach town councilman, who was Foley's guidance counselor from September 1969 to the spring of 1970 at Cardinal Newman.

Roth said Foley, 52, kept the molestation secret for more than 30 years because of "Shame. Shame."

i believe that is total bullshit..ido not believe there is a statue of limitations for child molestors..
after all man adult men have filed suits against priests ..as adult men..

i believe there is no statue of limitations because many abuse victims have repressed memory....and many times peoole can not name their abuser until something snaps as an adult.

a flash back of sorts..that is triggered by a life event..

i could be wrong..and it may depend on the state laws..

but i do not believe statue of limitations protects a perv..

11. One of the very few times I agree with Nancy Grace.

Statute of limitations be damned. If this took place 40 years ago, the alleged molestor is probably dead, but that depends entirely upon how old he was at the time. The guy could still be out there, and he could still be a danger to children.

If he exists, there's absolutely no reason not to say who he is. If he's alive, we end up protecting kids. If he's dead, then we may become aware of potential victims who had contact with him and may also need help.
