I Think I Figured Out What Rove Had In The Bag For His October Surprise
Edited on Wed Oct-04-06 10:08 AM by stopbush
Mark Foley was supposed to switch his party allegiance to Democrat this week.

That might explain that graphic that Faux News ran yesterday showing Foley as a D.

On edit: smiley added to show this was a joke. :)

1. Why wouldn't he wait until he was a certifiable Democrat?
I think rove gets too much credit. This is a disaster for the republics. Iran is his octosurprise imho

5. I agree with you.. I think Rove gets way too much credit.. I don't think
Foley was panning on changing parties either, he's pretty far right on most, if not all, issues.. I think Fox just pulled a dirty trick pure and simple thinking that the dumbasses that watch them would never be the wiser.. I mean, afterall these people watch Fox news, they can't be all that bright to begin with..

3. I'm not sure about that. I don't know how they would stop us unless

they put sanctions on all the cheap junk WalMart imports and sells. It might stimulate the economy to start manufacturing goods in the USA again. Maybe that would be a positive effect, which is probably why they aren't doing it. They could chop off our oil supply from Canada I suppose. That would hurt since I read a statistic that we get the majority of our oil from Canada.

i'm sorry - but i really just don't buy this as being masterminded by Rove. I don't know exactly why, it just doesn't feel like that sort of set up to me.
IMO if there is to be an october surprise, it'll either be trotting bin laden's corpse out, or some sort of manufactured threat from Iran.
