Poll question: Imagine that freepers are right about our invovlment in the Foley Flap
I.E. that this is all being orchestrated by our politicos, and might even have been a sting sort of operation.

How would you feel if these paranoid fantasies were true?

I don't believe for a moment they are true, myself, but curious.

3. So what?
The Dems didn't make Foley do it.

BTW they cheered Linda Tripp for ratting out Clinton. What goes around comes around IMHO.

5. personally i think this is bullshit! dems were not involved and to
Edited on Wed Oct-04-06 10:34 AM by flyarm
even pretend they are with a bogus poll feeds the bullshit..

this was kept from the dems..thats why fat fuck Hastert is in so much trouble ..because he made sure dems were not told..or brought in on an investigation as they should have been

this is feeding the b.s.

just my 2 cents..

and please do not say "our involvement"..i would not now or ever be involved in abuse of a child..or the cover up of abuse of a child..or the coverup of anyone who abused a child..

the word "our" is offensive

please be careful of your words..i find this offensive..

as a mother and a woman and an American!

there is no "our" ..this was abuse by a "republican" congressman in our house of representatives..

if he is found guilty ..it will be a rePublican congressman convicted of child abuse or endangering a child..

i do not see any dem involved in what foley did to these children ..to date.

and If a dem exposed this..they should be applauded for protecting children in their care! what any human being or American should do!

keep the blame where it belongs..if foley is guilty..foley is to blame..if the republicans covered it up..they are to blame..period!

8. seems we are swimming in the bullshit for the past couple days
and personally i am not only offended by it..i am getting downright mad ..

i have worked in the past with abused women and children..and i find this kind of shit disgusting..

keep the blame where it belongs ..with the perps..and those who covered it up ..for political reasons ..at the cost of innocent children.

enough is enough!

the spin is flowing here ..and it is offensive to me as a mom!

it is offensive to me as a guardian of children..as a woman and human and American

enough excuses..

enough of the bullshit

enough of trying to pass the buck

If Foley is guilty under our laws..then he is guilty

if the leadership of this country covered up the abuse of children..(i don't give a shit about party..this is about the abuse of children) ..for political reasons..they are complicit in the crime is how i see it..and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!

if we as a nation do not care for our most precious treasure..who and what have we become??

11. Same Here....
I have people close to me who are victims of sexual abuse, and am sick and tired of people spinning this shit for political purposes.

7. Well if we had done it I'd be as angry as if they had
done it to us. That said, the dems couldn't put something like this together if they tried. Look at them now, they are all afraid to "politicize" this. They sure haven't come out swinging. The blogsphere and the media are all over this. What have you heard from the Dems? I heard Nancy Pelosi say yesterday that she won't talk about it because she doesn't want to politicize the issue. Gimme a break, they are down for the count, drop the fucking hammer on them already, get the ads out, use their own words against them, nail em' to the wall. This is the Dems biggest problem, the GOP has them so scared that even when they catch a guy propsitioning young boys they are afraid to speak out against it for fear that... that.. that a Republican may accuse them of playing dirty pool. Horror of horrors!

Depends how involved the pages were and if they were molested, and if our guys let them be molested.

If not... good job! How could anyone think it's bad to catch a criminal? If they held back until near the elections, even better! Actually showing some political savvy! Again, provided no actual molestation occurred due to their holding back.

15. The Pubs have been very open about spending all their
campaign funds to dig up dirt on all Dems in any close races, and if a Dem dug this up on one of theirs, I say fight fire with fire!

What's that oldsaying..."You don't go to a gun fight with a knife?"
