Has there never been a straight child molester?

And if there has been a straight child molester, would it also be fair to assume(as talking heads are doing) that he did it not because of any other problems than his being straight? Is it fair to say that it is just as unnatural for a straight man to be sexually attracted to a teenage girl as is the case with a gay man being attracted to a teenage boy?

Otherwise the statistics for molestation of <18 yr/old girls wouldn't be 1 in 4 while it's 1 in 6 for boys.

That doesn't mean that molesters can't exist outside the statistical norm. It just means that the ordinary workadaddy next door can't be ruled out, either. Nor can his wife, although female molesters are a tiny minority.

Fact: Most child molesters are married male heterosexuals who victimize young girls (Masters, Johnson, & Kolodny, 1985).

For example. 13 year old boy, 34 year old woman. These same asshats couldn't get enough of that story while it was in full play. Case closed.

When I was a teenager, the man who directed both the junior and senior high school choirs was well known to have "pet" girls, and as naive as I was in those days, I knew that there was something creepy about the way he interacted with them. I was in my thirties before someone finally called him on his predatory ways and got the school board to fire him. So he got away with taking advantage of girls as young as twelve for over twenty years.

When I was living in Portland, a pedophile rented a house in my neighborhood and volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for a local fundie church. (This kind of thing is why savvy churches and voluntary organizations require background checks on anyone who works with children or youth.) He was caught when neighbors noticed that he was holding parties for the Sunday School children to which numbers of grown men were invited. The children involved were both boys and girls.

I guess they have a short term memory problem!

approximately 3% of the population is gay, but 30% of child molestors are homosexuals. Where he got his statistics, unless it was out of his butthole, I have no idea.
