1. Am I the only one who HATES his TV ads?
Edited on Wed Oct-04-06 01:47 PM by jackbourassa
I mean it was "cute." But will "cute" win him this election? Jez, Lamont doesn't seem to realize that he is running against an incumbent and has to give people a reason to vote against the incumbent and in favor of him.

CHANGE!!!!!!!! That's the message Lamont should be hitting Lieberman with. Washington has grown too fat, too selfish and too ignorant of the needs of people and IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!!!

Lamont needs fewer cute ads and more ads with teeth. Or he'll be behind by 10% on election day as well.

2. I LIKE it (sorry)
Edited on Wed Oct-04-06 02:00 PM by npincus
I think it's very effective... communicates biographical info about his experience in eduation, and he comes off as genuine, caring about children. I think any parent who leaves their child in the care of educators in our school system will appreciate that he appears to be interested (not feigning interest) in improving public education.

It's much more digestible than a negative ad or a dry recitation of his views. I think women will like it(me a woman-my daughter's in pre-school).

It's a good one-- in my opinion.

3. But who will he convince???
That's the point of ads. Convincing people to vote for you. In the Lamont campaign there seems to be a lot of preaching to the choir.

It's a cute ad, yes. Effective, no.

Just like all of his other ads.
