It Takes A Village Idiot

to destroy a community's sense of well-being.

It takes a village idiot to cause everyone to worry about what will happen tomorrow, or even later today.

It takes a village idiot, apparently, to lead others to their doom. Economically and perhaps literally.

It takes a village idiot's friends to share the village idiot's vision so that others come to see it as reasonable.

It takes a village idiot to deny others their right to not be village idiots also.

It takes a village idiot to cause others to see how much they could accomplish - without a village idiot in the way.
