They are willing to do things that most sane persons immeidiately reject. Like Stealing a US presidential election. Like Lying their asses off to get us into a war. Like using electronic voting machines to steal elections. Like detaining US citizens without charge or trial. Like Torturing and killing children. The average, uniformed person, when confronted by these actions, has the immediate reaction "they couldn't possibly do that! You are nuts!" and walk away. Bushco relies on this. I am absolutely convinced that if the US population knew, were convinced, of even half of the things Bushco has done, they would rise up and burn down Washington. At least the non-freepers.

all the tell-tale signs of fascism. I totally know what you mean. People think they couldn't possibly be that bad, they have good intentions. My husband used to say that to me until he started paying attention.
