IDing Foley as "D" proves the GOP and its enablers are SCARED SHITLESS!!!

The Repubs latest move, courtesy of the AP and Fox who IDed Foley as a "D," isn't about politics. Debates over Social Security, tax cuts, the environment, the economy, civil rights, health, etc, are just not working for the GOP. Simply stated, the Repukes rode in on a horse named "Contract __ America" (you put in the preposition) in 1994. They promised fiscal responsibility, moral awakening, and personal responsibility out the ying-yang. They produced nothing...nothing but scandal after scandal with regard to personal and sexual responsibility, fiscal stewardship, and moral and ethical standards.

Now, the only thing they have left is out-and-out lying. We've seen little examples of this ever since BushCo stole the White House in 2000. We've seen the Media Whores cover for King George the Torturer with regard to the debates, press conferences, and public appearances. We've seen even more substantial mis- and disinformation from the Corporate Media, as evidenced in Katie Couric's saying the Democrats took money from Abramoff last January and the ABC/Disney movie "Myth to 9/11" last month, to name but two.

But, it appears the public isn't convinced with the propaganda they've been catapulting, so now there is blatant lying on the part of the Media Whores: Lying the likes I've never seen in my 53 years on this planet. Again, this isn't about politics, or the ongoing debate we used to have in this country about the usual issues. This is lying to stay out of jail! It doesn't even pass for "debate" anymore. It's just lying...constant lying...Swiftboatesque lying. On and on and on...

The Repubs and their minions are scared shitless of what awaits them next month.

They know that there is no logical way to excuse Foley,Hasterts,et.al. behavior so they result to what they think is a subtle way of deflecting blame onto us.Its called subliminal advertising.Crap like this is standard operating procedure for them.As often as they come right out in the open with their attacks they are also continually pulling subliminal crap at the same time,thinking that no one notices.
They are wrong though.People like us,once aware of such attempts at manipulating public opinion,almost always are aware of it at some level.Even when we don't outright catch it are aware of it at a gut level.
