So whatever happened to Mark Foley's Pa?

He dropped out of the Florida Senate race in 2004 when his dad got cancer:

I bring this up because it seems fishy in light of what we now know. Even at the time people thought it was a convenient way of getting a vulnerable closeted candidate out of a race. So, if he was pushed out, does that mean that bug-timers in the Florida GOP like Jeb and Charlie Crist knew? Wouldn't Karl Rove take an interest in this?

Their priority was not stopping one of their own from doing something that many of their own do, it was to ensure the American People never find out. The grand old party and its supporters are perverted garbage constitution hating bastards.

a marijuana arrest at 17,

and his wish to quit high school and go to New York to help manage an apartment building for a male friend.
