Foley and should campaign on the war and other issues that matter. What blather! Just what the hell would the Republicans be doing right now if Foley were a Democrat? I shudder to think about the rage that would be expressed on the RW talk shows and FOX News. This is why all the RW talk shows should lose all credibility with even their own dittohead audiences. The fact that they are trying to excuse, cover, and spin on behalf of the Republican leadership is truly disgusting. It only proves that the Republicans are more interested in maintaining power (which equates to money) and not in leading this nation as the model of the free world.

AND yes, Tucker, this IS related to the war in Iraq which was launched, spund, lied about, and continues to be used by the Republicans as yet another example of the lengths to which the Republicans and conservatives will go to hold on to the power they currently enjoy. It gives them the power to launch wars and send YOUR children off to fight and die, not to protect freedom and democracy, but to fight and die for their agenda. I am royaly PISSED. I only hope that most of the rest of the country is too.

The Repubs have the patent on self-righteousness. That's what makes this Foley scandal so captivating, to everyone, media included. Their banner issue, Family Values, held up as an empty slogan for everyone to see.
