1. Right now it is the most important thing
Without our Constitution we are dead in the water. There will be no tomorrow if we don't stand up today. Peace, Kim

3. I'm answering for my husband who would definitely say yes.
He is "normal" political, but gets a bit annoyed with me when I start out each sentence, "...so guess what those idiots did today?"

He sometimes says, "Give it a break, huh?"

So then I pretend that I'm listening about the latest Marlin's game.

5. That's like saying is it possible to be too concerned with facts?
A non-political person is simply somebody who is unconcerned with certain sets of facts that deal primarily with the federal government. I know that may be oversimplifying it, but I think it's the raw definition. I'm not talking about people who are political but delude themselves into ignoring facts because it conflicts with their political ideology.

6. No... but blind partisanship corrupts the system.
IMHO, of course.

7. Normally, I'd say no, but...

Politics as of late has been turning me into a basket case. Every time I see what evils that Bush and the other Republicans are up to this week, I become a seething ball of rage. I literally get mad enough to start hitting things. I get sick to my stomach, I can't sleep at night, I'm less productive at work. I'm getting burned out.

It does help, BTW, if you have friends to rant with, if you go out to protests, and you give money to your decent local candidates in hopes of throwing the sociopaths out of power. It helped me a bit anyways.

I'll stay in the game at least through the election. But I'm not sure how long I can take this before I have a nervous breakdown...

9. Since 2000 I've been obsessed
I would really like to not feel so much hatred. Since that piece of shit was selected I can't seem to enjoy any piece of mind. I don't think this is healthy but can see no other way with these corrupt, greedy, disgusting pigs are running our country (and the world) into the ground.

10. I am sorry for your pain.
I feel the sadness and it grows when I am near people who have their heads in the sand regarding these issues. Each letter I right, call that I make and each corner I stand on makes me feel a little lighter. Still it requires a lot of beer at the end of the day. Peace to you. NGU Kim
