My advice to the Dems
Stay the feck off the TV shows for a while. Now is the time to keep your powder dry. Don't say nothing to anybody unless asked. And then only say you will get back to them later.

7. Speaking of Rush - wonder what his spin is today or
what he can do tomorrow.

Probably will start blaming the repug gay staffers.

Personally - I would not want to piss off a bunch of rightwing queens.

3. They seem to be following that plan!
Let the MSM do all the digging and keep the story alive. Woodwards book is also getting a lot of play also.

8. Oh, I adamantly disagree.
What would the republicans be doing if the roles were reversed?

11. Besides, some Dems could have been doing the same thing.
Although, if the Repukes knew about any such behavior, we'd surely have heard about it by now! All they have dug up is old, old stuff and BC+Monica, which was not illegal, just disgusting.

13. Disagree Completely, Uhhhh, Or Kinda.
I agree in the sense that they should not exploit this issue constantly. Let the media and internet keep that going.

But if you meant keep silent overall about anything, that's where I disagree. I think this is the time for the Dems to stand tall and proud and with honor and integrity. I think whenever they're on TV and someone asks them a question about this scandal they should respond simply and concisely with a "I think what the republicans did here was disgraceful, reckless and completely undermined the trust that americans put in their elected officials". Then follow that with "However, what I really want to do is talk to you about the real issues confronting Americans, such as the ballooning deficit, the failure of a war in iraq, our national security issues; since we still don't have our ports and borders secured, our social security system, healthcare for everybody, and increasing the minimum wage so that more families can rise out of poverty" etc.

Way I see it, with this huge scandal looming over their heads, the repubs are pretty much forced to have to take a hit on it and defend themselves on it. But the dems don't. The Dem's can issue quick and concise reminders to keep the repub disgust fresh in voters minds, while then using the opportunity to talk about our agenda and prove we are a trustworthy and viable alternative.

16. Yep
There are some disillusioned people out there looking to know what Democrats stand for because they are so disgusted. Now would be a good time to tell them while avoiding the scandals enveloping the GOP.
