Can anyone get through to B*sh? (serious question)
CNN Baghdad Correspondent Michael Ware said tonight that continuing a "stay the course" strategy in Iraq would lead to a disastrous strengthening of al Qaeda and Iran.

We can't afford to wait out the last 2 years of Chimp and his refusal to deal with reality and the catastrophe he created. One cannot imagine how much worse the world will be in 2 more years. Isn't there someone or someway to get through to this creature?

If we get a Dem Congress, perhaps they will put the kabosh on war funding. 21 dead n 4 days. Hundreds of Iraqi policeman working with militias and death squads. It can get worse. It is unimaginably bad now. It will get worse. Who can get through to this thing?

2. Poppy has put together a group headed by James Baker. I think Chimp will
listen to Baker. I think Baker knows how to put it tactfully but forcefully to Bush that if he does not cooperate he will no longer remain as president - whatever it takes to do that.

Baker has been their strong arm for years. I think if he says something to him - Bush will be afraid NOT to listen.

3. Let's hope so, but if not--

Baker may tip the scales to other powers-behind-the-throneby reporting back that GWB is....hopeless and dangerous.
