Are these the same people who were so incensed at an extramarital affair only a few years ago? 1. The IMS make very clear who was initiating sex chat.
2. IF the teenagers IMed him first saying, "Ask me to measure my penis" or something, Foley is responsible for how he handled it, so to speak.
3. IF the teenagers were ALL 18 and over, it's still inappropriate sexual harrassment!

According to the prank theory a young male Republican page who was an acquaintance of Foley pretended to be gay and engaged in gay cybersex with Foley and shared a transcript of the chat with his friends.


It reminds me of this guy on ESPN who posted an AIM message where he pretended to be a lesbian and supposedly chatted up another hot lesbian. The supposed lesbian was probably a fifty year old bald guy.

It's incredible that these people didn't have a clue as to Foley's orientation, and they claim to be politically savvy, and initially, NO ONE piped up to say "Uhhhh, guess what, folks?" You didn't have to work on the HILL to know that Foley was hiding behind the winter coats in the closet. EVERYONE knew it.
