Foley and all those other predators....a story that has legs and is runnin

You know why this has taken hold? You want to know why people are seeing this clearly as evidence of corruption? This story is all balled up with all the political stories and all the abuse stories lately. This week we had a guy kill a group of little girls because he was thinking about sexually abusing children. John Mark Karr was released this week because of procedural errors in a case against him on charges of posssesion of child pornography. Then you have Foley--a powerful man using his office to prey on minor boys. Parents are cringing everywhere. Distraction maybe. But I'll take it. If it turns parents and grandparents inside out to get rid of this corrupt congress and administration, I'll take it. If saving children from sexual predators is the means by which we can save them from predation by warmongers too, I'll help this story fly.

...back into all the House scandals and shennanigans of the past from Cunningham to Ney and now Foley...and how rampant the greed and lust for power is over doing the right thing. Every mis-step the Repugnicans take in this scandal just digs them in further. This is truly death by 1,000 cuts.
