John Mohammad, John Mark Karr, Amish shooter
First, let's compare the latter pair.
Each one of them created a media firestorm driven by events that had never happened. Each was convinced he had done something he hadn't done.
In Karr's case, he was convinced he killed Job Benet Ramsey, to the point of even confessing to the crime. He even manufactured details that didn't match the crime scene. In the media storm that ensued, it is finally realized that he couldn't have done what he claimed.
In the Amish shooter's case, he was convinced he had molested young female relatives 20 years ago. When the relatives were interviewed, it is discovered that the molestation never happened.
How did these ideas get in their heads?
Let's examine John Mohammad.
This person went on a shooting rampage against the public and he evaded capture for weeks. As capture ensued, it was discovered and announced what vehicle he was driving. He was known to be monitoring media on the event he had created. The spree ended when the chief of police read (at Mohammad's demand) an obscure phrase that no one would EVER hear in normal conversation; "caught like a duck in a noose". As soon as this phrase is uttered live in the media, Mohammad pulls over at the nearest rest stop, puts his wallet on the roof, and goes to sleep until he is picked up a couple hours later.
Obviously the far out suggestion here is that these three are manufactured agents. We see that Mohammad even perpetrates a form of brainwashing on the youth John Lee Malvo.
We know from documentation that a great concern following the cold war was the perfection of mind control techniques to create these types of "weaponized" individuals - out of a fear that our opponents, the Soviet Union, would perfect such techniques before we did and have an upper hand.
We see where the current administration has expressed a belief in "creating realities" to shape political circumstances.
I realize I am inviting ridicule, but, in consideration of some details, is it possible that one or some of these individuals are "projects"?
