Tweety gets it right with Mrs. Greenspan: who CARES about N. Korea?
he says people here don't care about it as much as they do what's happening in Iraq and on the hill with the Foley fiasco

Tweety to Mitchell: we're never going back to a second Korean War, are we

AM: uhhhh, no, but but it's a CRISIS, and the American shee...I mean people always rally around their fearless leader. they MUST

problem is, how do the dems say this without being jumped on for being soft on defense?

is Bush the luckiest prick that ever lived?

or what?

1. is this situation going to drive out the Foley story, which drove out
the Tenet/Condi meeting non-story?

will the media do ALL it can to beat the wardrums, at the expense of a juicy sex scandal?

stay tuned

or don't

3. I don't think this will drive Foley off the front-pages
NK testing a nuke is not the same thing as Al Qaida or Iraq.

6. can't the M$M change the velocity/direction of any story they want?
they CHOSE to cover a nonexistent Whitewater story for YEARS, until the Starr Inquisition came up with Monica....oh, wait, it was the M$M who worked hand in glove to deliver Monica, just as they worked with the likes of C. Boyden Gray, Ted Olson, etal, to gin up Whitewater in the final days of the 92 campaign

they will MAKE whatever news story THE story. they own the presses, as it were

I hope you're right, but WHAT story have they covered in the last six years that's redounded to the benefit of ANYbody aside from the BFEE?

inquiring minds need to know

4. The Foley story has SEX in it, so the MSM will stick with Foley 24-7.

7. like the male prostitute infiltrating the WH Press corps?
I wish you were right, but that one non-story shook my faith in anything but the M$M's utter complicity with the power residing in the offal office

again, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not predicting

that said, tweety is hitting hard again, about to talk about Bush conflating the Iraq war with that of the phony war on terra (last clause my words)

5. North Korea will be acknowledged because the first thing that *
did was cut off all talks when he got into office....this could have been prevented but because he was so ignorant he turned his back on the real danger....this is a direct result of his inaction...

8. and it comes around to FAVOR him, according to A. Mitchell, because
it involves national security!

just as the collossal 'mistake' in Iraq has served to help him (until now?), the pugs are hoping, and the media is playing along, that this potentially equally bad fuckup will again serve to skeer the sheep back into his herd

so disgusting.....

12. I'm not...even Don Imus caught her in a big lie. remember that?
let's see if I can find it. there's a transcript out there. it had to do with her involvement in the Plame story, IIRC

10. tweety seems surprised now at the hypocrisy: the republicans
Edited on Mon Oct-09-06 04:28 PM by Gabi Hayes
'are quite tolerant of homosexuals', where their supporters aren't!

don't you get the irony, Chrissy?

he mentions how the inner workings of GOPers on the hill is a big disconnect from what the trogs in the woods feel about the homos

well, GEE, Chris, just as the pugs PREACHED, SCREAMED, SPEWED about how dems were soft on defense, soft on terra, those people to whom they appealed are PISSED, now that they see what a bunch of hypos they are, JUST as those same Americans (and a lot more) who they scared to death about a nuclear mushroom cloud reacted so VIOLENTLY against the Dubai ports arrangement

sometimes, lying liars, you reap what you sow. they believed your bullshit, and are STUNNED that you, yourselves didn't, and were only playing a cynical GAME

stupid, ignorant fuckheads

13. jesus...Buchanan again
will he call him on the NAMBLA BS he's been spouting

tweety lists the growing number of pugs who knew about Foley before he resigned

Buchanan talks about Kolbe not stopping Foley for six years, brings up Trandahl. says it's the Little Big Horn of the Log Cabin Republicans.

not sure if he means it's their demise, or the pugs as a party are playing custer

anybody see that?

either way, he didn't sound to sanguine about the short term prospects for his fascist friends
