Looks like Privatizing of the VA is coming Larry Scott post
Many health care services at Columbus, Ohio VA clinic will be outsourced. Nicholson contract will go to Ohio Health a faith-based organization now Larry comments.

Instead of hiring VA employees to provide vital health care services for veterans, VA Secretary Jim Nicholson has taken the next step in privatizing the VA.

While the good news is that some vets won't have to travel for some services, the bad news is that the VA is getting closer and closer to being just another HMO.

It's time for the VA to Build the buildings and staff the buildings with VA employees instead of renting, leasing and outsourcing.

Outsourcing cost more. Outsourcing opens veterans' records to civilian eyes and compromises security . Outsourcing isn't efficient.

But there is money to be made off the veterans. And our Politicians will make sure that somebody gets the veterans money.

The biggest problem is that Ohio Health proudly states that they are a faith-base organization. That raises the serious question of where they draw the line between religion and health care. Who religion will veterans be forced to join before they receive their health care. Something to think about.

3. Is this a VA push nationally?
Privatizing the VA would be the ultimate sell out of the vet.
Hey look guys! We can make money off the human sacrifice of our
fellow Americans.

No. The VA is this nations responsibility to it's military men and women.
I hate war. War stinks. War is failure to my mind but I know what I owe
to those who serve their nation whether I agree with it's wars or not.

Keep the VA a national obligation not a god damn profit making
scheme for yet another clan of self serving republican businesspersons.

it's rated the more visibility here. Needs to be on the greatest page. Regular readers always check the greatest page to see what's happening, or at least I do, even though this is my fav. forum.
