The DRUDGE REPORT has obtained an exclusive copy of a "scary" campaign advertisement created by Hollywood producer and director David Zucker that was intended to be used by GOP organizations in the closing weeks of the 2006 campaign.

However, the advertisement was deemed "too hot" by GOP strategists all across Washington, DC who have refused to use it!

In the ad, Zucker, producer of SCARY MOVIE 4, recreates former Clinton Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's 2000 visit to North Korea. During the visit, Secretary Albright presented North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il with a basketball autographed by former NBA superstar Michael Jordan.

One GOP strategist said "jaws dropped" when the ad was first viewed. "Nobody could believe Zucker thought any political organization could use this ad. It makes a point, but it's way over the top."

It appears that Zucker wants to make movies like Airplane and Naked Gun. Slight problem: his aren't funny.

Hard to believe, tho' -- the Scary Movies are such absolute crap compared to those movies. In a way, that's even worse, if Zuck couldn't tell the difference.

It definitely is way over the top, but it surprises me that the GOP thinks so.

When Bush is busy going around the country saying that opponents of the war are treasonous, it's hard to know what is considered "over the top."

it's release to coincide with North Korea going nuclear. 3) Is it possible Zucker gets more info and intel than do the Democrats in Congress ? 4) Did the Bush Administration knowingly allow North Korea to test a nuke and let a Republican leaning Hollywood producer in on the secret.

Republican kool aid constituency as well as depending on an uninformed public.

1) Clinton went after Bin Laden after the embassy bombings - A cruise missle attack which Republican leaders labeled "Wag the Dog" and the sad excuse for mainstream news in this country picked up on.
2) The connection between Al Qaeda and the Cole Bombing did not exist until the Bush presidency began in 2001, and if you recall Ari Fleicsher's now famous moment in which a journalist told him that the Taliban were willing to hand over Bin Laden to Saudi Arabia, which was never discussed or mentioned.
3) At least the Clinton team tried to diffuse the North Korean nuclear aspirations, Bush only beckoned it by creating the Axis of Evil (taunting, name calling, childish excuse for lack of diplomacy, cowboy politics) and then invading one of those nations (sheer belligerence, incompetence) while taking his eye off the now resurgent Taliban, Osama Bin Laden (the boogey man which Bush invokes when he needs a ratings spike and strangely Osama and his henchmen deliver as if on cue), and the Al Qaeda terror network in Afghanistan/Pakistan (double incompetence, stupidity, lack of leadership).

SOmeone should take that ad and replace the basket ball with a ball of fissionable material, glowing like mad, then ad a voiceover that says, "The Republicans once again are asking you to believe the impossible, wouldn't you rather have the Truth?"

Then Insert Rummy shaking hands with Saddam, "The Truth is both Rumsfeld and Cheney have been doing business with Iraq ILLEGALLY since the last war there, and Democrats are SICK of this culture of Corruption. Do something about it, Vote Democratic TODAY.."

I haven't liked anything Zucker has done since the first "Airplane" movie. The "Scary Movie" series look just plain stupid to me, but I've never actually seen one, so maybe there's something to them.

...he didn't take over until 3. The first two we're done by the Wayans. The difference shows.
