This one made me laugh:

Alena Klimianok, legislative coordinator, D.C.'s shadow senator, Paul Strauss (D)

Alena Klimianok, 23, hails from Belarus and came to the United States to study "democratic trends."

"I'm from a country where we have some issues with democracy," she says.

But she doesn't believe America is perfect either: "Sometimes you guys have even less democracy than we do," she says, without explanation.

Without explanation? What needs explaining? What a dunce the writer is.
