Should ask a JackAss Guy to get Waterboarded then Interview him

Had one of those thoughts today.

Since those JackAss Guys like pain and all, and are so worshipped by the younger crowd - maybe we can ask them as Patriotic citzens to volunteer to be waterboarded, THEN Interview them about the experience?

I think a tape like that made public would really PISS a lot of average americans OFF (including the Youth Vote) and turn their votes to Democrats who REFUSE to torture.

THEN, just to drive the point HOME, we can tell the JackAss volunteer that during the process the Interigator will MAKE HIM admit to things he NEVER DID. Something that's PROVEN to have NOT happened.

This will show how Torture is INEFFECTIVE.

Put THAT on MTV for the Kiddies and let them ROCK THE VOTE THEN.

is it a volunteer? Because that's the point, to have someone volunteer then tell the TRUTH about it, not some prisoner fearing for his life forced to lie for Bush.

plus there is some good documentary discussion in it also. It really isn't that hard to watch and people really need to have a first hand look at what the government is doing in our name.

I saw the other DU thread where one could watch someone getting waterboarded. I belong to those who can't watch things like that after other posters said how shocking it is.
I'm not even sure how waterboarding works. What is the cruel thing about it?
But that actually proves your point. More should know about it or witness it because that would definately upset them.

I saw an episode of Mythbusters about two weeks ago, where they actually built a waterboard and had Kari go through it. The idea was to see if it really was a torture device. The answer was a very, very scarey yes.
It was episode 25, original air date Feb. 16, 2005.
