No George, it pushed us off after getting a running start. We haven't stopped falling yet. Will someone please stop this maniac.

2. Takes a sick mind to describe it that way
one who refuses to take responsibility for anything

which is Bush to a tee

11. Exactly.
The truth is that Bush approved the Rumsfeld policy that smashed the very concept of this country being on some moral high ground. It exposed to our country what others already knew. And there isn't even a hint of his taking any responsibility for his actions.

13. And he never will take responsibility
It's just not part of his character. He doesn't have it in him. He's not wrong and he doesn't hurt people...it's always going to be the other person's fault for his actions.

Bush is capable of any action - no matter how horrible and blaming the victim for it. And this man is President.

And that should alarm people...it really should.

6. Bush actually said that? I didn't watch the presser. Did anyone question
him on that statement? Does he think there is any high ground left after rendition, torture, and premptive war based on lies?

9. He mentioned it as if it was an isolated incident
Instead of the policy that they just had codified in the Miltary Commissions Act. Why doesn't anyone call him on this obvious lie.

12. It was a great relief to get all that pressure off our backs, too.
Now that expectations have been lowered, we can just rape and torture at a pace natural for us and control the tempo of our game.
