It was not a helicopter (re: CNN), but a two-engine aircraft.
That's bad news because it means more fuel to burn. I understand the plane was operating under VFR (Visual flight Rules). The only other question I have is did the pilot declare an emergency?

My guess is the guy had some connection to that building*...maybe trying to kill an ex-wife (and
himself)?

I have seen that scenario before.

* 'course it -could- be an accident, like he had a heart attack or whatever. The WX isn't that
bad, no way could fail to see it.

3. No Mayday was received
according to MSRNC. Witnesses said the plane was doing acrobatics then leveled off and flew straight into the building.

Sometimes things happen so quickly people barely have enough time to say "Oh, shit!" What I want to know is why a pilot was doing acrobatics over a city.
