10. If they do then the repugs will use it ..
no matter what because they are desperate. People were killed and they don't give a damn.

4. Sure doesn't!
whether an accident or something else....shows that's it's as it was on 9/11.

So yes, King is right and this bodes badly for President "keeping you safe since 9/11" Bush.

9. What? These were suspected terrorists who legally bought a plane
or rented one and flew it around with a flight plan and the FAA was aware that they were on Visual (I forget the term, but it was reported on Ed Schultz's show) instead of instrumental guidance?

Wow, I was unaware of that ... I just thought it was an accident ... Thanks, Peter King, R-NY, for clearing that up ...

11. So, King, you're saying it's just luck
that there haven't been more terrorist attacks on US soil since 9/11/01? It's not because Little Big Dick in the WH is essential to keeping us safe?

13. Agree with Mr King 100%. We are supervulnerable to terror attacks.
It's not just airplanes. Every year throughout this War on Terror we've had thousands of cargoes enter our ports undetected. Worse yet, every week tens of thousands of swarthy foreigners enter our borders completely undetected. And yet...

And yet there hasn't been a single attempted terror attack on US soil in five years--not one. Why not? Could it be that the terrorist threat is less than what we're led to believe? Nah.

15. Or could it be that the terrorists have achieved their objective?
Clark Kent: Terrorists have taken over the Eiffel Tower? That's terrible!

Perry White: That's why they call them terrorists Kent.

According to Greg Palast in Armed Madhouse Al Qaeda's goal was to get American forces out of the Holy Land (Saudi Arabia). How did he find this out? Well... um... it was posted on their website. Not one to appease the terrorists, fearless leader decided to um.. pull the troops out of Saudi Arabia.

16. That's really not a very plausible theory
Al Qaeda does not act in a concerted way. Being a multiheaded beast, it has as many objectives as it has cells. They're so decentralized now they're really only going to strike where they are. Where they are, by the way, seems to be not here. That's why their spin-off groups in Europe, Iraq, and southeast Asia are mostly bombing close to home.

I don't doubt that there are few Qaedistas somewhere in the world sitting around trying to figure out how they can get into Heaven by attacking the US directly. The problem is that they're mostly a bunch of marginal losers with little by way of organizational skills. The logistics of developing and delivering an attack here is beyond their skills and capabilities.

With the US committing constant atrocities and indignities against Muslim honor in Iraq, it's ridiculous to think they're only not hitting here because we met one minor demand of theirs. That may have been done to take the heat off the Saudis--and it seems to have worked--but their list of gripes against us goes far far beyond that.
