He doesn't care
All Bush has is stay the course. North Korea now has the bomb......thanks to Bush's invisible diplomacy and hide and seek behind the regional powers. He opted to allow the inspectors out, gave North Korea 98 million bucks--called them evil and now blames Clinton for his failure. So --he says, stay the course. THERE IS NO COURSE. When it comes to North Korea - Bush quit.

And we have a new estimate of Iraqi deaths as a direct result to the invasion.....an abhorrent 655 000 souls lost. He disagrees, tells us all that Iraqi's are willing to put up with the death toll and violence, and cedes responsibility to the next president. Because all he has is stay the course. So....any blame of failure will go to the next president, so thinks Bush. Just ask Condi - and she will tell you so. Any troop realignment adjustments will be made by the next president.

But at the end of the day, all I can think of is that Bush really does not care. He doesn't care about the constitution, he doesn't care that American troops are dying, he doesn't care that he killed over 1/2 a million people, he doesn't care that others torture in his name. That is why we see no new initiatives about North Korea or Iraq. Bush is willing to frick it all up, and lay the real grunt work of fixing his horrendous mess on the next president....because frankly....he doesn't give a damn.

1. Right and the reporters at the press conference lobbed real softball
...questions at shrub. So much so, that * amused himself by making comments on what the reporters were wearing and stayed for about 45 minutes to take more nonsense questions from the crowd. The MSM press have been so dumbed-down we have almost no hope anymore of getting at the truth :wtf:

2. I've never seen indication that Bush didn't want Korea to have "the bomb."
Everything he does seems to be aimed at turning countries against one another.

I suspect he had something to do with Pakistan supplying NK with technology. That would seem o explain some things.

3. That's Not Exactly True
HE DOES CARE....

About His Base. He wants to make them as much $$$$$$$$$$ as he can during his time in office.

HE DOES CARE....

About His Oil Industry Friends. He wants to make them as much $$$$$$$$$$$ as he can during his time in office.

HE DOES CARE....

About His Saudi Friends. He wants to make them as much $$$$$$$$$$$$ as he can during his time in office.

HE DOES CARE....

About His Evangelical Friends. He wants to get them farther towards their goal of making the U.S. a Religious Theocracy.

HE DOES CARE....

About HIMSELF, and making himself and his family as much $$$$$$$$$$$ as he can during his time in office.

So, just because he DOESN'T CARE about the majority of the American people, doesn't mean he DOESN'T CARE about NOBODY. He's just focused on what he does and DOESN'T CARE about.

4. I do believe he has one goal
Edited on Wed Oct-11-06 07:45 PM by jimshoes
in mind and that is to make himself into a dictator. Everything he has done and every signing statement points to only one thing. All power resides in the executive. No law is above the executive. The executive is the apex of power. The dog damned republic congress has helped him do this, the senate has confirmed it. I do not know if it can be reversed at this point. If anyone had the balls to stand up and say "You may go no further down this road to fascism" I would take heart. Until that happens, it's chimpy's world and we're only here to do his bidding. If a pedophilia scandal takes this administration down, I can live with that too. This whole neo-con/fascist movement of El Diablo's has to be crushed so completely that it will never rise up to taint this good Earth again.
