From El Diablo's press junket today: "Gas prices are down"
Uh, George? Gas is only down to $2.05 a gallon. Wasn't it, like, $1.35 when you seized power?

3. Everyone I talk with who mentions gas prices
says Election in the same sentence. Nobody is being fooled by this charade, even the Republicans.

6. it is fun though, to say these things out loud in a community of red
i go into our local convenient store a lot. i always look at the headlines. often it gives me something to bash the repugs with, with a line of customers and employees standing around. just puts me into giggles

10. Bingo!! And it's INSULTING to the MAX!
Gas prices rise and rise and rise... lame, false explanations are given... no one knows how high it will go, but there is no end in sight... this goes on for MONTHS...

... and then gas prices go down a month or two in advance of the election, and we're all supposed to just FORGET about how the REPUKES helped bring us the HIGHEST GASOLINE PRICES WE'VE EVER SEEN.

FUCK THEM, AND THE HORSE THEY RODE IN ON!

15. Right, this is so the decline looks more
"natural" and "random".

When they're accused of manipulating them they can go "nuhUH...SEE in early October the price went back up!?"

7. It's not his fault when the price is up but he wants to make hay...
...when the price goes down. Typical Republican hypocrisy.

11. Ya know what I find hilarious? Here in redder than red Idaho
Boise gas prices never really got lower than $2.40 today or $2.65 last week. The Idaho AG
even made an official requeast for an explanation from the oil suppliers.
'Hey wahh! How come everybody else is gettin their gas cheaper than us?'
It's like Idaho is so taken for granted as loyal red voters why waste time lowering gas prices?
