Churches, Government, Oversight and the lack there of
Over the last couple decades I placed and finished concrete as a vocation. at about the same time that the churches started getting in the political arena, I know, I know but yes, getting in the political arena. We poured many expansions on many churches, big expansions, I'm not so sure it could be called expansions because in almost all cases they more than doubled and most times quadrupled or more the size of the original church. At about the same time the repukes were starting to push faith based initiatives whatever the hell that is but anyways I wonder if the money for all the expansions were maybe money that we were told was being given to the churches to help with the needy and homeless here in America.
just curious

1. A question re Kirchsprawl...I've seen lots of chirch building on the
fringe between the suburbs and the exurbs of Milwaukee. My assumption was it was part of the middleclass and professional relocation from inner ring suburbs.

So my question is this...where were the "expansions" you were pouring?
