HAR HAR... this is early for an April Fool's prank on Evangelicals, but just in time for November 7th.... The inside scoop from ONE OF THEM on how they've been manipulated, used and scorned by the GOP, from the top down!

OOOOH... this is rich. I think this book needs to go to the Top Ten, don't you? Not sure it can surpass Woodward's in sales, but there are so many Fundies out there.... will they be receptive coming from this source? Will it matter to them?

I'm not a believer myself, but I live in an area literally swarming with fundiegelicals who are quick to praise Chimpy because he is a 'good christian man'... as if.

This book promises to be a source of rebuttals to such asinine statements.

Nice to see Olbermann getting this info out there... the demand for this book is already tremendous.

I had an ephany last night - first I watched Olberman and saw the story on this book, which is going to be EVEN MORE DEVESTATING NEWS for this administration (Thank God!!) and then I watched Bill Moyers report on how many Evangelicals are turning green - starting to care about the environment and protecting it.

It occurred to me then that we can reach a middle ground with the Evangelicals - once Bush & his administration are not in the middle dividing. When they finally see the truth of things - this is going to really open the door for the Evangelicals, Christians and non-religious liberals to be able to work together on common issues. Perhaps this will be the key to getting religion out of politics.

Anyway, it became very clear to me that the Evangelicals will see that they have been used. We shouldn't "glory" in their pain, but take this as an opportunity to work together for the common good.

given our Pro-Choice position. However, NOT voting for Repugs and/or splitting off to field their own candidates works for us!

and ask for it. We'll see what happens....

As to finding it in my local bookstore... I have bought Sam Harris ('Letter to a Christian Nation' and 'The End of Faith') and Richard Dawkins ('The GOD Delusion') there recently.

Actually, 'The GOD Delusion' was displayed at the front of the store on the 'New Arrivals' rack.

All this in Anniston, Alabama... go figure!
