654,000 Deaths Tied to Iraq War

http://www.commondreams.org/headlines06/1011-06.htm

Half a million children have died in Iraq since UN sanctions were imposed - most enthusiastically by Britain and the US.

1. Just like the USA - children don't matter
at least to the republicans - unless their in the womb - looks like that's a lie too (which we knew all along but it appears the stupid christian right it getting their noses rubbed in it, I say stupid because all the information was their, the left saw it but they closed their eyes to the truth)

3. where was all the outrage during the 1990's when all those children...
...were dying? I'm glad people are waking up now, but this is just another example of U.S. foreign policy in action. Same as it ever was.

4. 1,154,000 ... when does it become genocide?
Does it have to reach 6,000,000 to meet the "standard"?? :puke:

5. Apparently
Either that or we need to lose our bread and circuses to pay attention to the world around us.

7. The new nazis are in town...
The new nazis are in town,
the old ones gone out in a flame,
all wearing whitish ghoullish gowns,
that truthiness is all a game.

Conically hatted and flamingly crossed,
the revealling costumes in full truth light,
republican verdict a war lamely lost,
untamed virgins in 72 computer flights.

Dead wasted lives and when is it murder,
when do the killed have any rights?
Why are the fundies in such a fervor,
as if God smite them with 1,154,000 might.
Lost in their game of he shed she shed,
in the wood shed in the pages bed.
