New blockbuster poll will be released today
Edited on Thu Oct-12-06 02:16 PM by WI_DEM
The new Majority watch from Constituents Dynamics will be released in a few minutes. Based on 63 polls of 48 districts of 1,000 likely voters each they will show Democrats currently ahead in the House by 19 seats, 224-205, or the exact, 19-seat margin of the Republican majority after the 2002 elections. It is also a significant increase from the 219-214 seat lead for Democrats found in the majority watch polling from late August and early September. The 19-seat lead will not even include seven competitive, Republican-held districts that are currently being polled, and six districts that are currently tied...with 19-26 seats undecided this may be a looming landslide...

Sheesh - In Ohio two races which were NEVER supposed to be races:

Ohio 15 - Kilroy WAY up - NEVER supposed to come close to Pryce
Ohio 18 - Zack Space ahead...this race was considered a LOSER 60 days ago
Ohio 2 - Damn neared tied, and even though it is evil Jean Schmidt, this district has a HUGE number of Repubs in a small area that control the vote. If the rural portions of Ohio 2 come out, this goes the Dems way

4. It's showing that THREE seats could be coming from Pennsylvania
PA-06 Lois Murphy-D vs. Jim Gerlach-R, incumbant
PA-07 Joe Sestak-D vs. Curt Weldon-R, incumbant and Weldon is a big one I might add!
PA-10 Chris Carney-D vs. Don Sherwood-R, incumbant and adulterer. BTW, this is a very conservative district

:woohoo:

5. Murphy's beating Gerlach?
That's my district! :bounce:
I'm going to be out knocking on doors this weekend. It may not even be necessary, but we should keep fighting as if we're behind.

6. Yep!!!
I'm going to be out of the country the next 2 weekends but I've sent volunteer requests to both her campaign and Sestak's for helping out with the elections. Of course there is always Philly too

She's been beating Gerlach for awhile. The suprise to me was Sestak
