I hear about the peaceful demonstrations that most people on the net tell about when they oppose the Bush regime.
Gandhi did not only stand for peaceful Demonstrations. He also stood for boycotts.
If you find it hard to boycott many GOP contributing companies
then boycott these 3 companies
Exxon/Mobil ( no gas, no oil, no food or beer from their convenience stores )
General Electric ( none of their consumer products, lightbuldbs, refrigerators, tvs, stereos, vcrs, etc. )
Wendy's Restaurants.
I do not consider it enough to say well I already boycott them. Send these 3 companies
the text in blue from the website
http://www.dmocrats.orgThey need to get the message that you want progressive legislation passed by the people
they fund, namely the Republican congress and that you will not buy their products until they do.
If you don't want to address every issue then
include the text about civil servants counting mail in paper ballots,
demanding a 10 dollars an hour minimum wage
ending the Iraq War
and repealing Medicare part D and replacing it with a simple prescrption drug benefit within Medicare Part B covering 80 percent of medication at no extra cost, no means test, etc.
Look what the peaceful demonstrations have gotten us. They have done nothing to stop the war, nothing to increase the minimum wage, nothing to reform the voting systems adequately, etc.
We need to boycott GOP contribbutors and kick them in the balls with a consumer boycott.
