Cig smokers shouldn't whine while so many are imprisoned over Pot
I get tired of hearing about how put upon or persecuted cigarette smokers are when there are millions who have been jailed and imprisoned for enjoying a good green smoke.

"I can't light up in a restaurant', boo frikkety hoo, if I want a good smoke I risk going to jail, and so does the guy who gets it for me and so on. I could care less about cigarette smokers rights, I want MY favorite smoke made legal like yours.

I'm jealous, you can go right down to the seven eleven and buy a pack of smokes and smoke it right there in the parking lot, while I have to break the law and risk imprisonment and being outcast from society, but you don't hear me whining about it, because I can't even talk about it.

If people were getting arrested for possessing a cigarette butt or selling a cigarette, I might have some simpatico. I even get looked down upon like a social pariah or crack head, while your habit is legal and somewhat questionable.

Maybe smoking a Marlboro light calms you down, maybe you just enjoy a smoke like me, my choice of smoke calms me down too, so I can relate, but for Winston's sake quit whining about how you are so persecuted just because you can't light up in a restaurant.

1. Here's the difference between pot and cigs.
I've never been addicted to pot by using it.

Therefore I wouldn't freak out and become enraged for not having it. Therefore the government feels safe in banning pot not cigs. A case of a "government fearing its people" in all the wrong ways... ;)

4. I don't feel persecuted
I just rarely go out to eat anymore.

I'll defend your right to smoke a little weed if you'll defend both our rights to smoke our choice in a smokers restaurant. One in every town is my motto.

With me?

5. a smoker's restaurant is fine with me
I feel one should be able to go to a bar and sin by drink and sin by smoke without fear.

Let's both go to a bar and light up.

10. Woah
Share? Hubby's never tried and I've promised he will before we die. Although with that stash all he'll probably need to do is inhale. :)

8. Eh?
If there are two causes, and one causes less hurt than another, should we not attempt to fix them both?

(Assuming you are on the side of both mj and cigs)

11. smoking is bad for you.
right? a normal well adjusted person maybe doesn't even need to suck smoke down his lungs maybe I don't know, I ain't normal. But I support either vice, I just don't like unecessary whining.
