Please, this is NOT a bash Hillary post......
I just want to know ONE thing and would appreciate it if no other issues are raised in this post.
On Maher the other nite, he said that Hillary voted FOR the torture bill. Is this true and what reasons were given for her approval if so?
Thanks

3. The only thing I found was a long winded statement

She blathers on at great length about George Washington. The cut to the chase version seems to be that she was against it before she voted for it.

Face it, she's terrified of being seen as soft on terror.

She'd rather sell us all out instead of risking her position.

On edit: she voted YES to the Specter-McConnell amendment: http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_keyvote_detail.php?vote_id=3908&can_id=WNY99268

4. She voted Nay.
You either heard wrong or someone got her position wrong.

5. I don't believe that she did vote
for the torture bill, in fact I'm sure she did not. But she later came out with a statement that torture was ok in some circumstance like if the threat was imminent. Why she can't just leave well enough alone....
I thought I saved the link to the article but now I can't find it, maybe someone else has it handy.

8. Just in case anyone's interested in the FULL truth....
... and not just her vote on that particular bill...
