2,798 U.S. troops now dead in W's war of choice

For the month, 85. For the last 24 hours, 6.

As George Will said, the Sunday after Thanksgiving this year, we will have equalled the time we spent in WW II. Just a comma, and as Tony Snow says, these dead troops are just a "number".

1. Big picture folks, how's the price of gas in your neighborhood?

It's a complex equation safeguarding the Free World's supply of energy. Those dead troops wouldn't have amounted to anything in their mediocre lives anyway. Trust us. We know what we're doing. There are great things happening in this war. The benefits and stock options are accruing and the great bounty of freedom and cheap energy will eventually trickle down to you too.

They simply refuse to acknowledge the damage/death to our troops and the Iraqis because of W's war of choice.

I even saw a post by a right winger that said we must claim Iraqi oil as our own for our national security purposes. The sick sons of bitches. They could care less if our troops are giving their lives for oil.
