My prediction for GD for the next two weeks:

My prediction for GD for the next two weeks:
Last week - Smoking Wars. (okay, technically this isn't a prediction since it already occurred.)

This week - the topic will be Abortion early in the week, switching to SUV's And The Assholes Who Drive Them as the week winds down.

Next week - we'll move on to Those PETA Douchebags, followed by Why Do Women Hate Nice Guys.

Interspersed through here we will have the Give Up The Vote is Rigged contingent, with perhaps even a good old-fashioned Laura Branigan dustup just for fun.

Not that any of this is bad, necessarily, just real predictable. Carry on.

7. Well, under most circumstances, I don't think you'd find too many
DUers willing to argue against gay marriage. It's the same for Walmart - most people are openly opposed to them, and the ones who don't think Walmart is Evil Incarnate mostly just keep quiet.

But your point is well taken - if it's not one thing, it's another!

Prepping the ground for a 'Daschilization' of Rep. Pelosi.

This is of course not being driven by forces within DU, but, is largely
driven by outside influences and a few trolls.

...intent on posting stuff that recycles old flame wars in this the critical last couple of weeks before the election. And judging from the number of responses, they are succeeding on distracting DUers from GOTV and campaign issues.

Me I'm staying away even from the smoking threads, until after the majority chairmanship elections.
