Democrat neck and neck with Republican in Florida Gov race (new poll)
Crist (R) 46%
Davis (D) 44%

according to Quinnipiac a big surge of Independent voters to Davis has closed gap! I hope we can win this one (along with the Ohio Governorship which seems likely).

1. Wow!
Thanks. The Miami Herald has been reporting this race as tho it's a foregone conclusion that Crist will win.

3. I certainly hope so. Florida needs to fumigate once
Jebbie's racketeers are out of office. Some investigations would be in order there, too. I'd dearly love to see Harris thrown in jail for her part in the 2000 fiasco. Jebbie will probably skedaddle once his replacement takes his hand off the babble at the swearing in ceremony.

4. Go, Jim. I've missed having a Democrat in that job since
Lawton Chiles days.

And Charlie Crist is strictly bad news anyway.

5. Crist has had a lead ever since the primaries.
But I always thought it was overinflated. If the Dem's get out & vote in Florida like I think they will. Jim Davis will be our next Governor.

9. I hope you're right! Jim Davis is the real thing.
I met him recently and he's just what Florida needs right now.

6. Watch the numbers flip on election night.
I wish there was some way to log the number of Republicans who vote and the running tally prior to election night, then compare it to the number of Republicans who voted on election day and the running tally. Compare the two and we'll know if there is something fishy happening when the numbers flip at 8:00pm on election day. Happens all the time where I live.
