remember bush and cheney testifying, but not under oath?
why would the republicans let them reject being questioned under oath? something we should all remember this election day.
why did the republicans let this happen? what is wrong with the truth and nothing but the truth?.

1. Not to mention their joint appearance
Heck, it goes back to biblical times that you don't question witnesses together (see the book of Esther), lest they collaborate on their story. But since 9/11 changed everything, I guess Republicans figured it changed even the Bible.

2. If you are not under oath, you can not commit perjury
It is that simple. The fact that they did not testify under oath gives them a free pass to lie their asses off and never be held accountable for any lies told.

5. No, I don't remember them testifying ... because the public was not
to see that ... I remember that they met with the 9/11 commission ... on a friendly "tea" type gathering ... but I never got to hear anything that they "testified" ...
