Is all this talk about a "change" in Iraq policy the October Surprise?
Edited on Mon Oct-23-06 12:10 PM by Armstead
I have the Teevee News on in the background on CNN and it seems like all day they've been talking about likely changes in Iraq policy.

Makin' me wonder. Is this the October Surprise that we've been waiting for?

It's not as dramatic as other possible Octobver Surprises like finding Osama or provoking a confrontation with Korea or claiming Nancy Pelosi is a lesbian Al Quahda operative.

But in a more subtle way is the hand of Rove in this? "gee folks, we realize you don;t like what we're doing in Iraq. But we're going to change it, after the election. Promise. So you shouldn't vote for those terror-loving gay Democrat candidates if you're mad about Iraq. We'll fix the war for you. But you'll have to trust us, because we can't tell you how we're going to change it yet."

Just curious.

1. If that's the "October Surprise"...
then they've run out of surprises. Who besides Freepers and imbeciles would believe them anyway? Oh gosh, I'm being redundant.

4. This is no surprise to me.
The Busholini Regime knew that the American people were getting fed up with their Iraqi land grab, oil and depletion of the US Treasury. They had to come up with some Bullshit to appease the masses. They got James Bake The Bush Family "Fixer" to cojur up some Bullshit to dazzle the masses into settleing down. There is no way that they will let go of the Iraqi Black Gold and the Real Estate for their Multi-Corp backers.
