New York: Israel must open up its nuclear arsenals for international inspection to restore security in the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates has urged.

Abdullah Hassan Obaid Al Shamsi told the United Nations on Friday evening that Israel's possession of weapons of mass destruction is "a great source of danger" to the Middle East. snip

He urged the UN to force Israel to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency and asked for more pressure on the Israeli government.

He also urged Israel to "immediately desist" from producing or stockpiling fissile materials, cease nuclear testing and dismantle existing nuclear arsenals.

4. Sure seems logical, doesn't it. All those countries being sanctioned for
violating UN Resolutions and not allowing inspections and yet one country get's a pass...right in the heart of the problem. Maybe their stockpiles of white phosphorus should be inspected as part of a CHEM/BIO Weapons check, too. We invaded Iraq based on those dangerous chemicals and other WMD's reports.
