ZOGBY POLL: CLINT CURTIS / TOM FEENEY RACE NOW A DEAD HEAT!
Computer Programmer, Vote-Rigging Whistleblower Now Tied With 24th District Florida Congressman Alleged to Have Asked Him to Create Electronic Election-Flipping Software!

Two-Point Difference in Support Well Within Margin of Error, Curtis Leads by 11 Points Among Independent Voters…

Once thought to have been a "safe" Republican U.S. House seat in Florida's 24th Congressional district the race to defeat the once-powerful incumbent Rep. Tom Feeney now appears to be up for grabs, according to a new Zogby International poll.

Computer programmer turned vote-rigging whistleblower turned Democratic Congressional candidate Clint Curtis is now in a virtual dead heat with Feeney, despite the sitting Congressman's enormous campaign treasury funded by top-tier GOP funders and corporate PAC money.

Curtis' campaign has, to date, been funded only by individuals across the nation via the Internet. Neither the DNC nor the Democratic Campaign Congressional Committee (DCCC) has contributed funding to Curtis' race which now appears set to possibly unseat the once powerful Republican House Deputy Whip.

The inequity in funding may all now (hopefully) change as Feeney is seen as leading Curtis by only 2 points in the new poll commission by Election Integrity organization VelvetRevolution.us.

The Zogby poll showing the dead heat, also reveals that Curtis is leading among likely voters who describe themselves as independent by a full 11 points!

According to the report from Zogby International of 402 likely voters in Florida's 24th district when asked "If the election for Congress were held today and the candidates were Democrat Clint Curtis and Republican Tom Feeney, for whom would you vote?" respondents replied as follows:

Feeney - 45%
Curtis - 43
Other - 2
Not sure - 10

The race for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida’s 24th District is a virtual toss-up. Incumbent Tom Feeney holds the slimmest of leads over challenger Clint Curtis, 45% to 43%, with one in ten (10%) undecided.

Each candidate leads big among their own party members, but Curtis leads among independents, 48% to 37%.

The two point different between Curtis and Feeney is well within the poll's +/- 5% margin of error...

DAYTONA BEACH PAPER ENDORSES VOTE-RIGGING WHISTLEBLOWER CLINT CURTIS OVER CONGRESSMAN TOM FEENEY!
News-Journal Says Curtis is 'Independent Thinker', 'Prepared Well' to Serve Florida's 24th Congressional District

Feeney's Record, Refusal to Discuss Issues 'Gives Voters Reason to Look for a Better Choice'
It was one thing when Daytona Beach News Journal endorsed computer programmer turned vote-rigging whistleblower turned congressional candidate Clint Curtis over his Democratic primary opponent (whom Curtis thumped in that race).

It's quite another thing — a coup, in fact — that now the News Journal has endorsed Curtis over the powerful sitting U.S. Congressman and former Florida Speaker of the House, the corrupt Tom Feeney (R-Abramoff), in their race for the U.S. House seat in Florida's 24th district...

2. Feeney was the thug that engineered the Florida Legislature vote
to give Florida's electoral votes to Bush in 2000 regardless of how the recount turned out. Had Gore been certified as the winner it would have been a royal constitutional mess. Would be great to see him go down.

3. That's Great News...
As somebody who lives in the next district to Feeney I'd be pleasantly surprised if he lost...

6. Same here
I really detest that jerk for what he did in the FL house during the 2000 election. He has no business being in congress in the first place.

9. Really? What has Zogby gotten wrong?

As far as I can tell, they are amongst the most accurate polling organizations out there, having called '92, '96 and 2000 presidential elections within a fraction of the final total.

Only 2004 turned out to be different from their polling, despite their polling matching up with the Exit Polls almost exactly.

Go figure.

14. He fucked up 2002 and 2004
Edited on Tue Oct-24-06 12:13 AM by Ignacio Upton
And in 2000 he fucked up on Senate races. For example, he had Hillary neck and neck with Rick Lazio when she went on to win by 10%. Zogby polls have been ridiculously wrong so far in this election as well. I trust Rasmussen more, even if he is a Republican.

17. Some would say he got 2002 and 2004 dead right, except ..
.. for failing to account for the "Holy Ghost" vote produced by Diebold.

15. Hate to have to agree, but
...Zog has been the outlier in almost every poll I've seen this cycle. His internet polling approach is atrocious. You should sign up and see how they're done. No safeguards.

I'm afraid Zogby's a has-been, although I hope by some fluke he got this one right. To watch Feeney have to concede after all he's done would be the ultimate Schadenfreude.

11. I have a feeling there are a lot of people here who don't know
what Clint was asked to do for Feeney.

God, I hope this scares Feeney enough that he has to debate. Would that be sweet. Can you say the word "poligraph?" ha ha ha.

20. What poetic justice it would be if Curtis wins
Curtis is the computer programmer Feeney asked to design election-rigging software; he was subsequently threatened for going public. (Two of his dogs were killed in his own backyard.) He has testified to John Conyers about election fraud in Florida. It would be righteous if Curtis unseats Feeney, totally righteous!!

23. I don't know, but my guess is that this is a bigger story than............
than just about all others. It seems the diebold crowd is a election cycle or two away from total domination and if they get overturned so we get to see their contemptuous underbelly...........well just think about. All that legislation that was implemented and so much more would be so......
