There's A Soldier Missing In Baghdad.

A U.S. soldier was reported missing, "duty status whereabouts unknown" in Baghdad on Monday, the U.S. military said. CNN working on further details.

9. While torture is wrong in all levels
my friends who went to Afghanistan expected to be killed if captured in Jihad style, with a tape for mom and dad.

Same in Iraq.

They will be subject to the same as before, having their heads cut off on tape.

But the US Army does not distribute footage of people having their heads chopped off for propaganda value.

Again, torture is abhorrent. But these guys play by different rules, think pacific theater ww2.

I hope he comes home safely. I also hope that appropriate media attention is paid to the hundreds of thousands of dead iraqis resulting from the catastrophe we created
