I tell you, our President is so tech savvy...
Not only does he know how to use "the internets", but he's even discovered "the Google"!! Aint he smurt??

"HOST: I’m curious, have you ever googled anybody? Do you use Google?

BUSH: Occasionally. One of the things I’ve used on the Google is to pull up maps. It’s very interesting to see — I’ve forgot the name of the program — but you get the satellite, and you can — like, I kinda like to look at the ranch. It remind me of where I wanna be sometimes. "

2. Yes, he pulls up pictures. And they're supposedly
satellite images, not maps, so he can look at his ranch. :eyes: :banghead:

I'm getting the impression he just doesn't like to read.

9. GREAT POINT!!!
Areas pixelated for National Security. On the other hand, the nitwit might be looking at some ultra-secret NRO system and thinking he's on the Googles... LOL

10. Does he use Google Earth???
If so, then we need to start submitting Google Earth "community placemarks" all around his 'ranch' so that he might click on one and accidenatlly see a protest photo of someone like Cindy Sheehan! :D

I'd love it if one of my pix popped up in front of his face! :bounce:

5. the "program" is Maps.google.com
Which is pretty cool actually. I like using it and pretending I'm a spy zooming in on peoples houses and looking at them.

Just wait till they get Maps.google.com hooked up to those mind control satellites. Then we will see some synergy!

11. so we know that he does use "the internets"
Edited on Mon Oct-23-06 06:42 PM by Lisa
When he took office, he made a big thing about having to give up e-mail (on his g94b@aol account). Well, I guess he DOES open a browser occasionally, so he can use "the google".

14. So let me get this
He uses google but yet can't remember the name of one of their programs? I don't use it so I'm assuming Google has the name written all over the program too like their start pages.

19. My 4 year old
great-grandaughter was at the store last week buying some Halloween things with Grandma - and got very upset. She thought they wouldn't sell her the item because: "Grandma! It doesn't have a barcode."

My first thought: The kid's smarter than 2 pretzeldents!
