1. his biggest advantage?
Not his polished delivery, not his skin color, not his education, not his religious beliefs.

The one and only reason that the media is jumping all over his possible candidacy is this:

he ain't Hillary.

The MSM sees that democrats are nowhere as enamored or smitten with her as the Media is. So, they need someone else to bring up, then rejoice as they knock him down. (it also sellls more ads)

2. This morning
on NPR there was a brief program and there was some spokesman for some faction of the Democratic party who was hyping Obama and he desribed him as attractive, personable and a one-man Benetton ad. I kid you not. Wonder if anyone else heard this.

Style over substance triumphs in the world of sound bytes and TV politics.

7. no but i like him for veep.
that way he could get some foreign policy cred. you've seen what happens when we get a prez without any. he has plenty of time to run for prez in 2016 when the dem prez is term-limited out.
