That's when Jack Abramoff will report to prison.

"Former casino gambling lobbyist Jack Abramoff will report to federal prison in Cumberland, Maryland on November 15th to serve a 6-year sentence for fraud and conspiracy charges in relation to SunCruz Casino in South Florida.

Abramoff and his partner, Adam Kidan, pleaded guilty in January to defrauding lenders of more than $60 million in the SunCruz gambling casino scandal in Florida.

Due to a request by prosecutors and Abramoff's attorney, U.S. District Judge Paul Huck will allow Abramoff to serve his time at the Cumberland facility because it is within driving distance of Washington. As you know, Abramoff is providing information to Justice Department officials in a Washington investigation and will continue to do so despite being locked up.

Being close to the Cumberland facility will allow the government access to Abramoff and help prosecutors decrease expenses and travel time. Abramoff could see a shorter sentence depending on his level of cooperation with federal investigators."
