The ONLY thing Bush has changed is that he's not using STAY THE COURSE
That press conference was the biggest pile of nothing I've ever seen. Simple, political damage control for using the words "STAY THE COURSE" because it came back to bite the republicans. Bush made it clear: we're staying the course. He just didn't use those words.

3. republican internals obviously show that the public ain't buying the line
so instead of doing the right thing, they just abandon the line but change abosfuckinglutely nothing. And the ignorant masses will continue to kneel and swallow. Gosh look the president has a new plan.
