Buzz in Virginia-Something "Not Very Nice" About Sen. Allen
Buzz in Virginia
Emails began pouring in earlier today about a rumor on Capitol Hill about some trouble in Sen. George Allen's (R-VA) divorce file. Josh Marshall and others cannot get a response from the Allen campaign.

It seems everyone is emptying their opposition research files today.

Update: A very reputable political reporter tells me this isn't from Democratic opposition research and that it's probably coming out because many feel Allen "crossed the line" when he started talking about Jim Webb's novels.

I'm told divorce records are usually sealed for two reasons: (a) to protect kids, and (b) to protect large financial fortunes. Neither situation applies in Allen's case, so the suspicion is that it's something not very nice.

Update II: A clue might be in Ryan Lizza's recent piece on Mark Warner that cites a story that had been "making the rounds" about a 2008 presidential contender who "once spit on his wife." That rumor was also about Allen.

...if you replace the 'p' with an 'h.'

But just guessing here.

17. Shitting on his wife? That is an odd behavior...
Do you mean hitting on his wife? (As in beating her?)

19. George Allen is his own flying wonderbitch
You could have a look at several examples of his borderline psychotic behavior. Dead animal parts (deer heads), spitting tobacco juice on women & little girls.... oh just click on the link.

I wonder if maybe it means "shitting his wife" rather than "shitting on his wife," which is to say they were practioners of the erotic technique known as tracheogynocoprafilia, the act of receiving sexual pleasure from swallowing your paramour and letting them pass entirely through your digestive track. Few men have mouths and assholes large enough to complete this physical act, but I believe George Allen would be up to the job.

3. His sister wrote a book that described very disturbing behavior
posted earlier here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

Senator Allen's sister, Jennifer Allen, documents many cases of her brother's bullying in her book Fifth Quarter: The Scrimmage of a Football Coach's Daughter. Read the excerpts below.

Explaining why she is scared of heights, Ms. Allen writes that "Ever since my brother George held me over the railing at Niagara Falls, I've had a fear of heights."

Referring to George's relationship with one of her boyfriends: "My brother George welcomed him by slamming a pool cue against his head."

Referring to George's early leadership skills, Jennifer wrote: "We all obeyed George. If we didn't, we knew he would kill us. Once, when Bruce refused to go to bed, George hurled him through a sliding glass door. Another time, when Gregory refused to go to bed, George tackled him and broke his collarbone. Another time, when I refused to go to bed, George dragged me up the stairs by my hair."

Referring to George's early career aspirations, Jennifer wrote "George hoped someday to become a dentist. George said he saw dentistry as a perfect profession - getting paid to make people suffer."

4. Considering what his own sister said about him, it's probably about abuse.
We've got a drunkard/ex-cokehead in the White House, surely there's nothing wrong with being a wifebeater. I mean, if you're a Republican, that is.

5. Why is opposition research something Democrats rely on the press to do?
Edited on Fri Oct-27-06 05:28 PM by kenny blankenship
The same press that bent over backwards to put Bush into office and make Gore look bad?
The same press that tried to crucify Bill Clinton for 8 years?

If there's ONE THING the last 6 years have demonstrated it's that the modern Republican Party is shot through with bribe taking extortionate thugs, sexual harrasturbators who prey on kids +/or subordinates, as well as with the usual drunks and pillheads, nepotistic grafters, wifebeaters and amputee fetishists. We should be able to retake both houses of Congress on the scandal generated by "opposition research" alone, if we tried. Why aren't we any good at it?

If there's "something not very nice" about Allen--and it's not hard to imagine that there might be given his out of control mouth and the reported early history of violence against his family members--why the hell are we waiting on the press to decide to uncover it?

like flies on shit, putting him and Hillary through an inquisition 24/7. But the librul media never seems to want to probe anything like this on a Republican.

Take Ronnie Reagan for example. He was divorced. Nancy was 5 months pregnant on the day she and Ronnie tied the knot. But do we hear this? NOOOOOOOO! All we hear is how a morally upright person Mr. Reagan was.

38. Don't Make The Same Mistake I Did
Just checking in. The laser zappers have me a bit woozy,
and I have trouble getting things done. You may know the
feeling. I'm just taking the Kidd's advice, honey of a man,
and am trying to "get it back". Just like the
Democrats need to. Don't make the same mistake I did, by
doing things you aren't sure of, even though it's hard to be
sure about a lot of things.
I'll try to stay put and get it back, as best I can. To
people up here in the Pacific Northwest, Allen seems like a
sandbox vendor who has a lot of charm but is very rough. Good
Luck.

41. I'm wondering
Given what his sister wrote about him has made me wonder if there was not something in the divorce complaint about a form of mental abuse as well as physical. It sounds as though he got off on his sister's terror. It made him feel better, superior and in control. He sounds more like a sociopath to me.

I wonder if the people at "The Smoking Gun" have been able to get a copy of the divorce papers?

44. Allen Ringtone
I played around the last couple of weekends on a new blog site to create political ringtones. Made a Macaca tone with Allen's comments in it, so this get's further distributed. If you like, text "rage macaca" to 41411 or go to ragetones.com. (this is free to downlaod, not a commercial service). Open to other ideas how to spread political messages via ringtones...
