1. We should have deployed the power of compassion and support

on New Orleans. Instead they had troops with guns who were given orders to threaten and scare innocent New Orlean residents who were given no water and food for days. They were essentially treated worse than animals.

Not to mention the life threatening toxicity caused by the breached levees.

3. that last photo is actually the worst one
That's them returning to Crawford on Tuesday night, completely oblivious, smug, tanned and insouciant.

The next morning he does a flyover of NOLA, then on Thursday the aides have to show him a DVD of the news reports because he has no idea what's happened.

Yes, while New Orleans drowned on Tuesday August 30th, George Bush was in San Diego on a Navy ship clowning around with a guitar. Oblivious. While the rest of us were glued to CNN screaming "somebody help those people!"

5. Amen! The manner in which our own dying and desperate countrymen
was treated is truly evil, despicable, and disgusting. We cannot let the country forget. The gulf coast is still barren and many so desire to return, yet have nothing to return to...

7. We can drop bombs on poor people all over the world
but we couldn't drop food and water on poor people here in the States. Pathetic.
