The last major one I can remember was right before the Republican convention, when they shut down midtown Manhattan based on maps found on a laptop four years previously. All of midtown was clossed to traffic, people were searhed to go into the building to go to work, cops everywhere. Do you know how much that COST us? And it was completely BOGUS. But it set the stage for them to go to code orange or whatever for the RNC. They locked the town down tight based on that.

Production delays, weather not cooperative - writers union on strike. Word has it they've gone through THREE directors already.

Bin Laden threatening to walk off the project - still miffed at being snubbed by Oscar nominee committee for his last effort. Also extremely pissed at not getting royalties from image/dialogue being used in current Republican TV-spots and print ads.

DVD rights still not negotiated - deleted scenes/"making of" extras seem to be the sticking point.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld hoping for last minute deal on Collector's Edition boxed set - figure they'll make great stocking-stuffers for staffers and Pioneer Club members this Christmas.

Will eventually be shown in GOP 'art houses' catering to small, select audiences -- because NOBODY WILL GIVE A CRAP THEN, ANY MORE THAN THEY DO NOW.
