A Time For Americans To Reflect And Contemplate

It's easy to get caught up in the partisanship and the negativity of political campaigns. However, voting is one of the most serious decisions that we will make in our lives. There are consequences to our votes. Our votes determine what type of future we want for ourselves and our children. Our votes reflect the courage that is within us. Our votes reflect what type of people we are.

It is no time to pick a candidate like you would pick your favorite football team. It is not our team against their team. We are choosing a direction. We need to stop and think for a moment and contemplate what our country will be like if we vote for "our" team. Will it be better or worse? In the heat of battle, we need to put our "vote" in perspective.

I say this with the caveat that those Bushevik tyranny's-ass-kissing doltards and their bruitish masters have viewed it this way for quite some time, evident in all of their written works and statements these past 30 years.

One of the components of the Hitler (or Caesar) Principle, as I like to call it, is that civilized people hesitate, debate, and make sure of things before we act decisively. Busheviks, Nazis, Commies, and other zealots do very little of that. Party and Leader tells them. They believe, no matter whether it is an obvious lie or not. Then they act as decisively as my computer does when I double click to run a program, in most cases. While we are still wondering if it coulkd be true they are ruthless murders, they are carving out our livers to eat with a nice Chianti.

Is everyone who supports Bushler like this? Of course not, humanity is infinite in variation. But as with the Nazis before them, you only need a much smaller core of dedicated zealot fanatics. And the Bushevik core of zealot fanatics and "Good Germans" is quite large indeed. The number of people who can easily be fooled, as it always has throughout history, remians high.

My point is, NO MORE NAVEL GAZING. For 20 years since the advent of Bush-Limbaughism, I navel gazed. I didn't want to believe such virulence could rise in this country. I heard the echoes of Hitler's calumnies against the Jews as early as the early 90s, but didn't want to listen.

Now the chickens have come home to roost and we are staring into a pre-1776 both here and for humanity. Battles we'd though were won 70 years ago are being refought while the planet broils and the species chokes on it's own offal.

To what end will we consider our votes? Will we vote for moderate 'Pugs? NO! To feed them is to feed the Bushevik Beast, plain and simple.

Will we vote Green? Some of us, but more of us know that the Democratic Party, for all it's faults and flaws, is the only entity that can currently check Imperial Power.

I don't need to contemplate anymore when staring monsters in the face. And that is what the Bushevik Leadership are, that is what by default, many (but not all) of their followers have become the same way the Good Germans did by following Adolf.

If I have become a zealot, then is there no difference between me and the enemies of America? Yes. Because I know what I have become, I am self-aware, and I wear my zealotry like a suit of armor in the hopes that one day Liberty and the Old Republic will be restored and I may take it off again, if I can.

The Bush-Limbaughian has no such thoughts (maybe a handful of them, though self-awareness is not on the Busheviks' list of high priorities, leaders or followers), their zealotry is who they are, down to their toes, down to the minute they are told to ignore the camps and the disappearences.

And I will not waste any more of my time contemplating my vote. I KNOW what it is to be, whether it is to be counted or not.

I will not feed the Bushevik Beast by voting for one of them even for dogcatcher. Nor against the Democratic Party which carries our collective hopes to be truly free again, one day.

Divide and conquer. When we divide into "teams", the Repubs always do better. Because they are more natural in their personal attacks and negative ads? Whatever, it seems to work to their favor when we line up to choose "teams".

Eventually, we all choose teams, but it is the environment in which we choose the team we wish to vote for. If we do it in an emotional. passionate, or hateful moment, we will most likely choose the "team" that has a "D" or "R" next to their name without thinking about the consequences. That cannot be good.

You are also correct that choosing in the heat of the moment or with overzealous intentions is not good...if the Republic were healthy and not under assault by Totalitarian Zealots.

I care not for what others do, to paraphrase Patrick Henry. I have chosen my side. Liberty.

And yes, sometimes, "informed counter-zealotry" (howz that for a term I just made up?) is necessary and good, provided it does not kill the rastionality beneath the armor.

The environment in which we choose our team IS toxic, with 25 years of Bush-Limbaugh nazi echoes transforming this nation with demonization and dehumanization.

We have to win in order for the Republic to survive, THEN we can worry about detoxifying (after the voting system has been reestablished).

that we will lose some close races because we permit the voters to choose "teams", rather than make them think of the consequences of their votes and to reflect on the present condition of our nation. The partisan divide permits many voters to disregard political realities. I think a "cooling off" period would benefit the Democratic Party. I think the more heat that is created during this divisive time helps the Repubs and may prevent the Democrats from winning back the House. I believe Repubs are the people that need the time to think about their vote and that will help the Democrats.

Just not for me.
